Just a Swingin'

Sunday was a perfect day. The weather was beyond perfect, Sophia was perfectly pleasant, and Steven was home from work by 5. We capped the day off with a visit to the park, which by the way, the Putnam County park is fabulous! More importantly, CLEAN and fabulous! We had the entire place to ourselves. Sophia loved the swings but had more fun crawling through the tubes on the jungle gym and sliding down the slides. I'm really starting to realize that one of the great things about having kids is that you get to be a kid again yourself. What excuse would you ever have to climb on a jungle gym or swing if you didn't have children??

We even stopped for ice cream on the way home. I've been doing really well on the ole diet (down to less than I weighed before I got pregnant, yee haw) so the ice cream stop was definitely my idea but Sophia seemed to be a big fan of it too!

I look absolutley ridiculous going down the slide but I would do it with the kids. It's great because you can use them as an excuse!

Love Sophie's hair up in the air while she's swinging. :-)

I love the picture of Sophie going down the slide with her hair all flying up! It reminds me of Bogey from the old "Shirt Tales" cartoon. Sophie is just too cute for her own good!

Shirt Tales! I have not heard that name in a long time! I was a shirt tales for Halloween when I was little!! How Funny! Love the hair flying up as well, but that smile in the first pic is to die for. She looks like she is having a blast. So sweet! Thanks for sharing!!

Shirt Tales definitely rocked...but I was more partial to the Snorks and Smurfs!

Oh, my gosh, I LOVE The SMURFS!!! When I was little I was convinced I was Smurfette. I would beg my cousins to play "smurfs" with me.

(Oh, and I meant I loved Sophie's hair going down the slide!)

Right back at you with the TAG game! (see my blog)
