Wagon Season

That's right folks the time has changed, the weather is beginning to break (ok not all the way because the forecast said it's suppose to get cold again this weekend but you get my drift)...now where was I, oh yes, the weather is beginning to break, and mommies across the land are itching to take their little ones outside! And that's just what we did this weekend! We broke out an early b-day present from GiGi and PaPa, a red wagon with some monster wheels (after all we do live in West by god Virginia where the monster truck show comes twice a year...ok seriously I have NEVER been to one of those nor will I ever.) Actually, the purpose of the wheels are to traverse over sand this summer at the beach. I figure it will be perfect to haul Sophie and the 40 books I read every year at the beach. She was a little leery of the wagon at first so I couldn't get a good picture of her smiling but I have a feeling that we'll be taking a lot of walks around the neighborhood this summer.
It's not just wagon season for Sophia, little Hannah headed out in her new red wagon this weekend too!

Love the wagon. We have the one with two seats in it.

And I laugh at your thought that you'll be reading books at the beach this summer, well, other than during Sophie's nap. I got to lay out and read for about two hours total the whole week, and that was with 3 grandparents, Auntie Lala and Uncle Patrick all there to entertain the boogers. But let me know how the wagon works out for you, we considered taking ours wtih us last year but had no room in the Expedition.

Oh yes Andrea...I will be reading...if steven can play golf everyday...I can read...Is it crazy that I have SERIOUSLY considered talking along one of Sophie's daycare teachers?!?

Kim, I love you, but you will not be doing much reading. Before my kids I averaged a book a week AT LEAST. Now I do good to get one a year!! I admire your intentions though.

Ok...so now you guys have put me on a course to prove you wrong. I have this all planned out..Steven golfs at 7am so I'll be on baby duty in the morning and then he'll be on baby duty in the afternoon b/c he HATES the beach. Or Plan B I bring hired help, anyone interested in a weeklong summer job?

I always take a book with me whenever I go to the beach too but I never seem to finish it! Especially with Sophie, I'm sure you'll be far too busy with other things! :) Cute wagon photos... hopefully it won't be too cold this weekend so I could take Ethan out too. T minus 4 days before the bash! :)

I believe in your quest to read!! Good luck and I enjoy your blogs. I tried what you said about adding links, but it still doesn't look like Andrea's. Oh well :)

Gracie has the wagon with two seats and cup holders. My mom got it for her and her little friend Sophie (who we had just met in daycare a few months before). She bought it and took her for rides before she could even sit up on her own so needless to say Gracie already loves it!
