Baby Huey

Allow me to set the scene. Picture it Winfield, Saturday March 17. Sophia and Steven are back in our bedroom and I'm in the living room. I hear the following conversation:

Sophia: Uh...uh...dada dada dada
Steven: No Sophia that is for babies
Sophia: dada dada dada dada
Steven: Sophia you've wanted that all day long and I said that it's for little babies. Sophia, you are going to get hurt trying to get that out.
Sophia: CRASH, waaaa waaaaa
Steven: FINE...you want it out, I'll get it out and you can get in there.
Enter mommy to the following scene.

Now kept in mind that my child has shown ZERO interest in this bouncer since she was 5 months old. For some unknown reason (which there is probably a very good reason in Sophia's mind)when we dug the bouncer out for a visit with Baby Ben, Sophia has been all about it. A few times she's placed her baby dolls in it but for the most part Baby Huey wants to sprawl out in it herself. And for those of you who haven't been introduced to "Baby Huey"you can click here. I myself had never heard of him until my sarcastic dad brought him up. The description of Huey in no way describes my Little Bit...but she did sort of look like him with her big butt strapped in an infant bouncer!

This is sooooo cute! Gracie got jealous and had to get in hers because there was a baby doll in it. However, she sat in it for a couple seconds and was over it. Looks like Miss Sophie is really enjoying hers!

Hailey LOVES to try and sit in Max's bouncer, and she also had NO interest in it as a baby. I loved your narration and laughed out loud when I saw the picture. Very cute!

That is hysterical! Don't hate me for saying this, but the first thing that sprung to my head when I saw Sophie in that little bouncer was Mearth from "Mork & Mindy." Wait...you're probably too young to remember that. Mearth was played by Johnathon Winters, so he was a biiiiiig baby. Sophie is WAY cuter than Mearth, of course. It's just that she looks like a giant in that seat!

All I have to say is, HILARIOUS!!! I also think that Sophie has a great sense of humor, like her mommy!

Try to imagine Evan trying on 0-3 month baby clothes. That was the scene at my house this weekend while I was trying to wash some of the new baby clothes and get them ready. He insisted he could wear the cute little pooh bear outfit! Same concept...was too small and way too funny! Love those Kodak moments!!
