Sophia Was Here....

(Ok first start humming the Witch's theme from the Wizard of Oz. You know the song that plays as the tornado is sweeping Dorothy away and Miss Gulch cruises by on her bike and then turns into the witch on her broom. Ok, got it.)

Sophia was here....

And here....

And here....

All before 8:30 am this morning! Apparently being sick doesn't slow Pipsqueak down. How I ask you am I not a size 6 from chasing and cleaning up after this tornado? And she's not even walking yet! My friend Andrea has twins (or Twinkies as we all call them) to keep up with, how in the WORLD does she do it? Andrea, you amaze me! (Oh and as to the reason why I'm not a size 6- that could be due to the bowl of ice cream and the Milky Way that I scarfed down last night!)

Oh yes...that looks like my house! I thought Gracie was doing it to me because it drives me crazy when everything is all messy. But I guess she really isn't out to torment me afterall. I am learning to just leave the messes because they keep coming back. Also, if your Oscar is anything like my Winnie her stuff is always all over the place because as soon as I put it away she gets it all right back out.

Wow!! I have forgotten how much work one baby can be!! These things that drive you crazy now will be the things you will remember and talk about later:-)

Really enjoying your blog Kim.

It looks like your little one feels a little better!! They do keep you busy, but enjoy it and let it happen. They grow up sooo fast!!

One word- playroom. I’m telling ya, it’s the way to go. Shove it all in and who cares what it looks like? We periodically pick the stuff up off the floor so they can at least walk through the room.

As for pulling the books off the shelves, we still haven’t solved that one. I keep trying but they keep pulling. Every evening while they’re in the bath, Daddy sits on the toilet watching them play and ensuring they don’t drown and I run around like a hurricane and try to pick up at least the top layer of “stuff” from every room but the playroom.

We need to set up a playdate for Sophie B soon. As long as she’s pretty tough, Ethan sometimes forgets to play nice and you know my kids are giants.
