Frequent Flyer
If you could earn frequent flyer miles for visiting the doctor I would have earned a trip to Fiji by now. Yep that's right Little Bit has another ear infection. I have been to the doctor around 8 times in the past three to four weeks! It's completely INSANE!With this ear infection Sophia didn't "complain" as much as she normally does so sadly I think that she's starting to get use to the pain. So as soon as we get this infection cleared up we are headed to the ENT. Everyone please send good thoughts and prayers our way that we don't have any freaky reactions from this new antibiotic.
And the FedEx guy finally decided to deliver my new lens. I really haven't gotten a chance to play with it but I think I'm going to LOVE it. Above is a pic that I took this evening with it. We were actually able to coax Sophie into sitting in the grass for 1.2 seconds!

She looks like she is ready to fly off the grass though! Get me out of here! Can't wait to see pics with the new lense! Yippee! Lucky lukcy girl! Sorry about her ears. Prayers coming your way! Keep us updated!
poor girl. I hope she is feeling better soon.
I'm sending positive thoughts your way that the ears will clear up and the ENT will have only good things to say!
Yay on the new lens! I'm sure your pictures will rock even more than they already do! Love the pigtails in today's picture!!
Poor Sophie and her ear infections. I hope the ENT doc says what you want to hear. I don't know your feelings about tubes, but I am sure that the thought of a operation is scary, so I hope the doc can help her little ears. I will send positive antibiotic vibes your way too :)
LOL! Actually, it looks more like you pushed Sophie down into the grass with her little arms and legs all flying around like that. Admit it...that's how you got the "sitting in the grass" shot. ;-)
I hope Sophie feels better soon. I used to get ear infections all the time when I was a kid, and they're miserable. Hopefully, it will all clear up soon.
The new lens will give you much more range, especially for portraits. You can already see the "bokeh" in the new photo. The 1.8 setting will give your shots that extra pop that you desire. Nice.
Ok, Tomas could have been speaking a foreign language in the above post, that is how ignorant I am about photography. As I’m sure you can see from my pictures!
Back to the blog- it really does look like you pushed Sophie into the grass! And poor Little Bit and her ear infections! I hope the ENT can help you and she feels better soon!!! Yay for your pediatrician getting you a super quick referral!
Poor little Sophie! I hope that she feels better.
Tell your Mom I said hi and thanks for the well wishes!
Sending good thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery and hope she doesn't get any allergic reactions to this time around.
I love your new lens - you LUCKY GIRL!!!!!
