"Love Bites"
This post is only staying up for a limited time because it makes me cringe just looking at it. Oh the joys of parenthood, I guess you have to take the good with the bad. So to make light of the situation and since it is Valentine's Day, when I saw Sophia's bite it reminded me of that Def Leppard song "Love Bites." You remember it: "Love bites, love bleeds, it's bringing me to my knees." Well that song pretty much sums up Little Bit's Valentine's Day. I think the kids must have gotten a little hyped up with all of the party festivities! Accidents happen and Sophia seems fine. But why do kids bite other kids on the face? I've had this discussion with a ton of parents and we just can't figure it out. Oh I know...I bet it's because the biter knows that the victim's mommy scheduled her 1st Birthday pictures for Sunday. Does anyone know any good bruise remedies? Some old lady at the pharmacy told me to try toothpaste!
On a happy note, Sophia says "THANK-YOU" to GiGi, Papa Scott, Grammy and Papap for all of her Valentine goodies. She loved everything!

OH MY! They sure got her good!! Poor Sophie....... well it's fine with me if you want to wait another week or so. I just hope she's okay!
wow! Zack has been bit a few times, but nothing close to that! I want to give her a big hug. Did a 10 year old bite her?
That kid's mouth must have been huge! Hopefully photoshop will take care of that, along with some creative angles. Poor Sophia!
My first suggestion- reschedule. My second suggestin- I've always heard that a spoon stuck in the freezer for a while works. Freeze the spoon, and put the back of it on the bruise. Good luck! Do you need to have the pics done a month early? If not I'd definitely reschedule.

Wow - that is a bad one! Teagun's been bit at daycare too a couple times, but never this bad! Poor thing!
OUCH!! That hurts me just looking at it. Poor little thing. Postpone the pictures if you can, but if you can't...I guess the first huge horse bite she ever received is worthy of milestone documentation. Good luck!
OK. I confess...my boys are usually the BITERS, not the bitten. Thankfully now they have resorted to just biting each other and have left the innocent alone. I don't have any remedies, but take comfort in knowing that I don't have one picture of the boys where at least one of them doesn't have a noticeable injury!!! It always makes for an interesting picture.

Kelly, I think Sophia needs to spend some time around the Vickers boys so they can toughen her up. So the next time someone bites her, she'll knock the daylights out of them!
