All the World's a Stage

And the Soph is one serious player. The chick loves her some stage time. She started in the back but worked herself up front and center to rock out to Jingle Bells and Tony Chestnut.

So the theme was "Penguins." And the memo said to wear black pants and a white shirt.  I figured, why buy a $40 red party dress and not get some use out of it. My husband called me an asshole. And Sophie wore her dress.

Here they are singing "Tony Chestnut." Yeah, the red dress sticks out a little don't you think?

And girlfriend getting ready to rock out to Jingle Bells.

I'm not sure what part she was doing here. I'm thinking it was part of Tony Chestnut. But it could have been Little Bit just working the stage.

And a star is born!

Video to come tomorrow!

I love the red party dress! Sophie is one of a kind even without the red dress! Looking forward to spending the week with her! -Amy

OMG, you ARE that mom! But who cares, she looks super cute!

I agree with Amy. The dress is adorable, and since kids don't get invited to many formal Christmas parties, she had to show off the dress while she had the chance.

Totally THAT MOM!! But that's okay, when else will she have a chance to wear her party dress? She looks very cute and I'm sure the dress made her easier for you to spot during the program! hehe.

These are great pictures. This is one of those things I would want to do - but not have the guts.

Love the dress!

don't worry about it Kim, there were other kids there who didn't have on white, and at least you're honest. Sophie was a bundle of joy to watch. She is a pure 100% ham.
