Digging A Ditch

We are HUGE Dave Matthews fans up in here. As soon as I snapped this photo the DMB song "Digging a Ditch" started playing over and over in my head. Sophie B. has one serious shoveling technique, don't ya think? The kid could be digging for buried treasure. Or a hole to China. If only we knew what went through that that head of hers! Whatever her thoughts, she was really concentrating, for about 10 seconds that is!

I did a little "faded color" action on the above pic a la Mac since I STILL don't have  a new photoshop. Here's the original. Which do you like better?

She sure looks pretty intense digging that hole! The faded color looks good. You know me, though, I go waaaaay overboard with color so I like the original one!:)

I like the faded, it's pretty cool.

Hey, Janice and I were at the mall yesterday and a kid was walking around with one of those monkeys from Build A Bear...I started laughing! I will never look at those monkeys in the same way, ever again thanks to you!

I like the faded pic, but I think you should brighten the white of the dress, like Pioneer Woman does all the time. Then, the focus would be completely on Sophie B!

She looks like she is having such a good time!!

I like both pics, but I gotta say the original is my fave.

I like the original. I think if you had a bit more light the faded may look better, but you lose some of Sophie's facial features to what appears to be shadow when you do the fade. Both are good, but I pick up the intensity of the digging more in the original.

I like the faded picture. It is fun to play with those programs, and wonderful to have such treasures.

This is so darling--I love the juxtaposition of that girly, deminine dress, the pigtails--and then that determined little face and that shovel! TOO CUTE! Great shot!

Blessings!
