Color Wonder
I've discovered that when you have a kid you get to do all of the things that you liked to do when you were little. Like coloring! I was a HUGE fan of coloring. I remember around Halloween and Christmas time our local grocery store would have coloring contests and I would be one POed kid if I didn't place. And of course it didn't get much better than the ginormous box of Crayola crayons with the sharpener in the back! But no matter how hard I try, Sophia just isn't in to the whole coloring scene yet. I've tried the Color Wonder markers but all she wants to do is take the caps on and off. And get a load of her technique. It's interesting to say the least.
And here she is admiring the work of a master. Mommy. I must say that's one good looking Dorothy the Dinosaur.

Too cute!! An artist in the making. And it's true about your loving to color. It was your favorite section of the book racks.

I also love to color! Maybe she is perfecting the double handed coloring. It shaves alot of time off of your coloring time!!
Jonathan is really into coloring now and it's definitely gotten better as he's gotten older so there's still hope!! He also colors with both hands, which I always thought was weird, but maybe not!
I love her technique! I once won a $50 gift certificate to a toy store for winning a coloring contest. I love to color as well!! Cameron does too but he ends up using the markers on our couch (they said it's washable but it's still hard to take off!). Ava's probably the same way as Sophie. Maybe it's the age thing. :-)
Loving that technique. I was never much in to coloring like Sophie, it is probably why I can't even color in a circle...joking!
Aubree loves to color, I think she did the same thing as Sophie does now at that age. She'll probably get it soon and will be showing you up in no time;-)
Now that you mention it, I think I won a coloring contest once... :)
And like you, I want my daughter to love coloring, but she just eats the crayons.
