Practice

First is was Sophie's pre-birthday celebration with Steven's family in Pennsylvania. Then came Daddy's birthday in February. Next on the list was GiGi's big 5-0! On the way to GiGi's surprise party I was practicing singing Happy Birthday and the girl just about flipped her wig when we got to the "Happy Birthday dear GiGi" line. "NO NO NO, MAMA, IT'S DADDY." I guess a song that isn't the same every time you sing it is totally absurd.

Meanwhile, I'm sitting here on the couch trying to watch Lost and for the last hour and a half I've been listening to Little Bit (who went to bed at 7:45) having a full blow conversation with herself and randomly busting out "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, "Monkeys Swinging from a Tree" and the ABC song. She has NEVER taken this long to go to sleep, usually in 10 minutes she's out for the count. I'm wondering if she got a hold of a can of Mt. Dew!

Grace won't hardly go to bed before 9 o'clock anymore! She was all jazzed up tonight also...maybe the warmer weather!

Jonathan sometimes takes a while to go to bed, too. As long as I don't have to go back in there to settle him down, I'm totally into the singing!

lol... we deadl with that everyday at daycare. she cracks me up because she won't even lay down until everyone else (except Grace) is asleep. she thinks it's her civil duty to help put everyone to sleep.
