Top Chef

Happy 2008. I know that I've slacked off on my posting. I have two excuses. Number 1, I haven't picked up my camera since Christmas day. And number 2, I am currently in the middle of reading "The Pillars of the Earth" and it happens to be one of those books that you occasionally come across that's physically impossible to put down and you stay up way past your 10 pm bedtime reading. I HIGHLY recommend it if you are looking for a good book.

As for Little Bit, she's well on her way to battling Bobby Flay in an Iron Chef match up. The girl can cook up a mean batch of sauteed watermelon. But there is one great big giant negative to the kitchen set. It is a MESS!!! We bought her a 100 piece food set to go along with it and all 100 pieces end up thrown around like confetti. Is it bad that I'm thinking about hiding the tiny plastic french fries and hot dogs because I'm tired of picking them up?

Watch out Paula Dean!!! Love the apron in the second picture. Heck no, go on and hide those fries and wiennies, after all, a chef can only cook so much.

Thank you for meeting my demands and posting the pics of Sophie B playing with her kitchen set;) That kitchen looks like a ton of fun, and I love her little apron. I agree with GiGi that it is fine to hide the hot dogs and french fries- with 100 pieces, she'll have plenty left to cook.

Isn't that the best gift? I actually have to thank you, you made my little girl's Christmas with your tip back in September. Looks like Sophie loves it too!

I just love that kitchen set!!! It looks like a good size too - something she won't outgrown any time soon.

Can I just say that Pillars of The Earth is one of my favorite books! I read it back when I was in highschool and couldn't put the book down! Love Ken Follet!!!

The kitchen set is adorable and the apron could not be cuter with the PJs. Jonathan's set is always a mess, too, but he has such a nice time with it that I am mostly OK with cleaning it up. We do not have a 100 piece food set, however, so I say away with the weinies!
