Picture Perfect

We are on the ball! In just one week's time, Steven hung up my new lamps AND 5, count them, 5 pictures, one of which is my new canvas! YESSSS! While he's on a roll I should probably try to talk him into cleaning out the garage. Hmmmm.

And on Saturday we hit up "Billy Bob's Showbiz Pizza," which is a "Chuck E. Cheese" knockoff(again just what does the E stand for? Ernie? ) with Gracie. The girls had a BLAST. I think they rode every ride in the joint at least 3 times. Our only snafu was Steven having to jump into the ball pit to rescue both girls. Sophie was drowning in balls and Gracie couldn't move thanks to the big kids jumping on top of them. You'd think that if a parent saw two one year olds trying out the ball pit that they'd make their kiddos wait a whole 5 minutes before jumping on in. Oh well, it's a big pit of germs anyway.

Go Steven! Must have been catchy because Bryan did some things around the house this weekend that I've wanted him to do for a while!

That canvas is amazing!

I love your new picture wall! Looks great!

Billy Bob's? Seriously? I went in there once to pick up a gift certificate, and I nearly had a stroke from all the noise and lights. And some strange kid ran up to me and roared at me while waving his hands at me. I vowed never to go back, even when I have kids of my own.

That canvas looks amazing. I can't imagine poor Steven battling a bunch of kids to fish the girls out of the ball pit- that sucks. Steven getting in there is much better than me getting my big butt in and out of that thing though!

The room looks very nice -- I love the lamps. By the way, where did you have the canvas done? I really like it.

LOOOOOOVE your wall of pictures!! Unfortunately I can't get John to put our tree away since he's now got the sick bug from the kids.

I think about bringing Cameron and Ava to Chuck E. Cheese but I feel the same way about you when it comes to playing with the older kids. Ava's like 2 feet tall and would probably drown in that ball pit as well. Hope the girls had fun, though.

Canvas looks so nice!
I remember going to a place called Showbiz when I was a kid, I wonder if it's the same thing!

Glad the girls had fun, hope they didn't catch any diseases :)

I love the canvas too. It really looks good.
FYI - Chuck E Cheese is a LOT smaller than Billy Bob's, but they have a separate little section just for the smaller ones. Evan usually hangs out there, while Travis and Andrew fend for themselves in the game area. Plus, everything is ONE token at the Big Cheese's.
As long as you can tolerate the noise, they are both a ton of fun for the little ones.

Sorry, should have warned you that the ball pit should so be age 4 and over. You know that my kids are big for their age, but Emma got her back literally stepped on by this girl and her friend who were about 5-6 and are totally going to grow up to be Britney and Lindsey. We don't do the ball pit there.

I've never been to Chuck E. Cheese but it just disturbs me that they serve beer there at a kids place. I mean, you know me, I'm no alcohol prude but seriously, it IS a kids place. Isn't the pizza fab at Billy Bob's though???
