Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major

I really need to break the video camera out and tape some of this stuff. This afternoon we enjoyed a lovely piano performance with a vocal accompaniment of "kinkle kinkle ittle star" on the mirco-phone. Good times. She can sing "twinkle twinkle" from start to finish and as she's singing I can't help but think "does she really think that she's making sense and sounding good?" For all I know she could be like some of those dodos on American Idol last week who seriously think they can win the whole darn thing when in reality they make your ears want to bleed. But you know what really gets me with those people? 99% of them say "well my friends and family all say that I sound great." Apparently these people need to ditch the friends and family that they have and pick up some new ones.

Ok, I'm off of my AI rant. Do you think Beethoven ever played his piano in his undies like Soph is in her diaper?

Don't you do your best thinking in your undies? I can't get over how long her hair is getting. The diaper shots are to cute.

I love the Sophie version of twinkle twinkle little star. You know all concert pianists started out playing in diapers, regardless of age... j/k

Well, if Beethoven didnt play in his undies, maybe he should have:) Looks like she is enjoying herself and who knows, maybe you have a great singer in the making.

Of course Beethoven played in his undies. All those classical music geniuses were a little goofy. I'm certain he wasn't as cute as Sophie, though.

You are so right about those AI contestants. Someone needs to do them a favor and tell them the truth! It would be nice if if happened for them before national television!

She looks adorable! We're so not into pants around here either! :) She's destined to be a virtuoso!

I have always told my mom that I thank her for telling he how heinous my voice is at an early age. If she hadn't, you guys would have been laughing at me, and I don't have the charisma of William Hung to capitalize off my voice either :)
