Petty Crime

Apparently we are starting down the road of juvenile delinquency early. Forget the troubled teen years! Our daughter dove into crime at the ripe old age of one! On Saturday my dad took the whole Carr gang shopping. We ventured into the Disney store and while my dad is standing in line to pay for a fantastic Cinderella sippy cup, Little Bit decided to take a five finger discount on a .99 cent Finding Nemo Magic Bath Mitt. Yep…plopped it right into our Old Navy shopping bag and out the door we went. Right as we were leaving the mall Steven happened to peek inside the bag and I hear him say “uh did we buy this?” I probably should have taken it back but I honestly didn't feel like trekking back to the Disney store. Besides, does this look like the mug shot of thief?

Your going to need to keep an eye on that girl. At least she didn't stick something with an alarm sensor on it in your bag.

I love the Christmas dress!

LOL. Sophie Five Fingers -- that's her new name. My niece Alex slipped a candy bar in my sister's pocket once. Kids are kleptos. It's a proven fact.

Yep, she TOTALLY looks like a thief. Good thing you know LOTS of lawyers!

Oh, and Ethan totally stole a sweater for Emma once. BUt it was at Walmart so I consider it a perk of frequent shopping there. He slipped it into the stroller behind him and I found it when I got him out. And she totally wore that sweater last year, I'm not even embarrassed to admit it. Ok, maybe a little...

That is too funny! I am sure that Little Bit was a very patient, well-mannered child all day. She probably felt that she deserved the extra perk for her good behavior.
And I was at the mall yesterday and I can only imagine how bad it must have been on the weekend...I would NOT have trekked back to the store either. Just chalk it up to a Christmas bonus.

There's no way that innocent face could possibly do anything wrong. The Disney Store is way overpriced anyway.

How funny--I agree with the other post--Disney is way too overpriced anyway and I am certain they will get their $.99 back from you in another purchase!

I am sure that GiGi will agree that all this trouble that she is going to start causing is pay back for all the trouble that you caused ; )
Look at that innocent face, how could you believe she did anything wrong!

Little Bit can hang with Hailey in the slammer because she is verging on store klepto. I am shocked that Target has not caught her yet because that is her favorite crime spree location. We have walked out with a white turtlneck (the correct size too, so yeah), face cleanser, socks...etc. I shop there so much, that I only feel a little guilty.

Lying (blaming things on Oscar) and stealing already. You and Steven are seriously in trouble ;)It is good Sophie looks so innocent. I agree that the dress is adorable.

LOL
I guess that's ONE way to get what you want at the Disney store. And at least it didn't sound the alarm. THAT would have been embarassing!!

Telling lies, stealing...what's next? Cheating?? But look at that face! Who could blame her?

I often wonder when my kids would do that. Look at that face, though. She could probably get away with anything when she flashes that look! She's just too cute!!!
