A Little Bit of Xmas

I can't BELIEVE that Christmas is right around the corner! We have all of our inside decorations up. But I can't say the same for outside. We had great intentions of putting lights outside but it has been so cold and rainy lately that going outside to string up lights just doesn't sound like fun.

Sophia is in love with the tree, literally. She's given a number of ornaments kisses. Strange I know but I guess they were in need of some lovin. The mall Santa, however, got ZERO love from Little Bit. You would have thought he was Satan rather than jolly ole Santa. Needless to say we were unable to get a picture taken with him. We couldn't even get a crying, "please save me" picture snapped. Little Bit stiffened up her little body and there was no bending it. The girl has an iron will. Every so often we'd ask her if she was ready to go back and see Santa and without a second thought she'd tell us "no." Maybe next year.

Waiting for daddy to come home to show him the tree.

Hanging the "Sophia'" ornament.

kim,

those are beautiful pictures. lydia has not really messed with the tree but we just put on the decorations so she might be more attracted to it now...

Those pictures are great! I especially love the close-up of her hugging Rudolph. Here's hoping Santa wasn't too offended by her snub!

Jonathan was not into Santa either--he took one look at him, said "that scary" and he was done with it. And we were at the mall with the Santa with real facial hair, too!

Those pictures with the tree are gorgeous--we still need to put up our tree...

Ashley is also just in love with the tree. I guess the bright lights get their attention.
I love the pictures of Sophie with her little stuffed animal. To cute.

I told you that Emma put a big no on Santa too-last year and this year. Hopefully he wasn't offended and will be stopping by anyways.

So cute! She's totally into Rudolph, isn't she? My kids LOVE that song and heaven forbid it comes on 99.9 cause then they want to hear it again and again, and of course my CD player in the car is not working right now!

Try taking Little Bit to "Santa Clause Mountain". After you drive through the archway leading to his house and see all the pretty lights at the North Pole, she can have hot choclate and cookies while she tells Santa what she wants. Of course, I am talking about the St. Albans lights, but for 13 years now it has been where Santa lives. That is the ONLY place we take the boys to see Santa b/c the other Santas just aren't real!!
