Tee Time

Lesson One:

Always keep your head down.

Our meal ticket baby. Start 'em young and push push push. That's what Tiger's padre did anyway. Do you think he had a horrible childhood? Or do you think he happily practiced everyday for hours upon hours? But today, as he sits on his yacht with his model wife I'm sure he thinks it wasn't all that bad. Besides, Saturday morning cartoons are crap these days so why not practice.

My nieces and nephews had a little tiny set of real golf clubs that they used for lessons. Sophie so needs a set!

Ok - you are freaking me out with all the coincidences! Are you my long lost twin?! lol. My hubby has joked - at least I think he is joking - that we are banking our retirement on Bella becoming a professional golfer. He says that the scholarships available for girls and women are way easier to get since it is less popular and a lot of them go unused. Not sure how true it is but she has a plastic set that she loves. I am sure if I show him this pic of your hubby he will take the day off and be on the course with Bella tomorrow for the real deal!!!

Hey, you and my hubby have the same idea! I'll be rootin' for Sophie if she makes it big time in the LPGA!

So have you found a red coat?

OMG, Michael wants to glue clubs into the kids' hands. But Ethan is set on being a basketball and football player too so I think the glued club would impede him. I think that we're onto something by banking on living through our kids though. Ethan is constantly bringing me his Hotwheels Audi A8 and telling me that's my car. It's a sign.

On a side note, the "real" clubs which are super adorable start at age 3. I'm thinking my kids' next birthday presents.

Just make sure that yacht has a sleeping berth for you, too! Golf is so much fun. Start 'em young. Start 'em young...

Bryan definitely wants to get Jonathan started on golf, too. Great for him if he is actually good at it and can support dear old mom, but more importantly, it is something they can do together and Mommy can go shopping!
