Blah
So I've got a case of the blog blahs. Nothing exciting to share. No exciting photos. Nada. Oh this weekend we are taking a little mini family vacation to Snowshoe. Just the three of us. The three of us have never been away by ourselves so I'm excited about our little adventure. Our big plan is to take Little Bit for a ride on the Cass Scenic Railroad. I'm really hoping that the weather cooperates.
And in daycare news, Little Bit is finally getting use to the new room. The past 3 days we haven't had any crying. YAY! However, on the way to day care she learned a new trick. She was in the back eating Cheerios and says "WOOKIE MAMA!" Yeah, learned how to shove a cheerio up her nostril. Nice. I just about wrecked the car reaching back to jerk the bag away from her. I can just imagine taking her to the ER and explaining that she shoved cereal up her snout. Nut.
And here's a cute one of the birthday boy! I can't believe he's one already!

Okay, the goggles are hysterical!! Love 'em!
I think the put-stuff-in-your-nose bug is going around. We haven't experienced it personally, but have heard about many who have... :)
that pic is so just like Miss Sophie B. what a goofball!!!! Ty is really just too cute. Don't know what to tell you about the nose thing, you didn't do that one.

Very cute with the goggles and Ty is adorable!
Have fun this weekend- I have done the Cass Scenic Railroad trip and it is fun, Sophie will like it. I highly recommend eating off the mountain at the Elk River Inn (although they are not always open, but they have a website that you can check out to see) or on the mountain at Ember- it is really fun- they serve cotton candy for dessert!

The goggle pic is good. I think Sophie will enjoy Cass. Depending on the time of day you ride the train, I would take some food along for the break at the top of the mountain. They used to do deli sandwiches at the main shop at Cass. We usually take a small cooler with us for drinks and sandwiches for the train ride. You should be able to get some good pictures. Have fun.
I am a pro at the "putting things in holes where they don't belong" scenario. Most recently I have experienced a pencil eraser up the nose, which did require the ER, and a popcorn kernel in the ear, which was retrieved by a paperclip!! It's amazing what skills you develop as a mother! I have a feeling you are going to get pretty good at managing the odd ball situations with Miss Sophie...she definitely has a mischevious streak! :-)

Have a fun trip!!
She's so funny in those dang goggles.
I grew up going to Cass and have wanted to take Jonathan there--you must let us know how it goes! My grandpa wants us to do the overnight trip where they drop you off up on the mountain, but I am not so sure about that yet...
Didn't you know that's what Cheerios are for? ;-P Have a great time at Snowshoe, I bet Sophie will love it!!
Just picture my father in grade school being taken to the hospital where his father worked to have a dime removed from his nose. He apparently wanted to make sure President Lincoln had a decent view because he put the dime in his hostril so the dime horizontal. I'm glad you all were able to get the dime out without any assistance.
I agree the goggles are cute.
