Proving Me Wrong
So today's doctor visit was the COMPLETE and UTTER opposite of last week's visit. Of course I'm happy about it BUT this visit probably set a world record. We walked in and before Sophie even had a chance to pull the "I pee" trick, they called us back. So I couldn't really put her to the test. But she did do well while we waited on the doctor. I pulled out the $1 etch-a-sketch and she sat on the table and played with it like a big girl. She weighs 25 pounds and is 34 inches tall. The nurse, however, go an earful when it was shot time. Little Bit was totally ticked off and looked at her said "OUCH, dat a boo-boo."
Oh and she is now completely paranoid and petrified of alligators and 100% believes that one lives behind GiGi's house. And apparently he followed us home and bit her because when I got her out of the car she kept yelling "ALLIGATOR, I need ice." And then he apparently decided to jump in the bath tub with her because all of the sudden she jumped up and screamed " I WANT OUT OUT, DARES A ALLIGATOR." She's crazy. Perhaps even certifiable. I'm gonna have to ask her teachers if they have been reading alligator stories at school. Or like I said, she's just nuts.

That is hilarious - and check out that vocabulary - go Sophie! I wish I had the potty problems with bella - I can't get the girl to pee on the potty to save my life! Any tips????
I completely believe that there is an alligator behind GiGi's house. Why would Sophie ever make up such a thing??
I must agree, it is a record that you were called back so quickly at the doc's office. He must have had a ton of cancellations or something. At least this time you were able to get out of there with your dignity...and without CPS. Don't worry though. Next time she is giving you fits at the doc's just remember, Andrew is the reason why all of his fire alarm pulls have covers over them!!!

Little Bit provides a lot of joy with all her antics, she is adorable
I am happy the Dr visit was a good one (all but the shots).

...OR she's a child genius with a very active imagination!
That picture is so cute--that look on her face is precious!
I'm happy to hear the Dr visit went well. We have only had one really bad one thus far so maybe you are done!
to funny, i hate when alligators follow us home :) glad that the dr went ok!! nothing cutier than a kid eating an ice cream cone!
Yay for a good dr visit. Welcome to the toddler years, it's like Forrest Gump, you never know what you're going to get.
Let's just hope those alligators don't team up with Ethan's killer car mauling crickets or the whole Kanawha Valley is in trouble!
Sophie B is a crackerjack. We have always looked for kitty cats behind the house before but yesterday she was sure it was alligators. Nothing like an ice cream cone to cure a doctors visit.

how funny! I'm glad the doctor's visit went well. I'm not looking forward to taking Zack next month. Shots get so much harder as they get older.
She sounded so funny in the background the other evening talking about an alligator, especially with her adorable pronunciation. I'm glad she is wearing that outfit we got her for her birthday- I hoped it would fit. You'll have to let us know if they have been reading alligator stories or what in the world has sparked this fear of alligators.
Glad the visit went well.
