I ALWAYS find myself having to defend our reasons for only wanting one child. Maybe it's because I am an only child myself that I see the world differently than people with siblings and vice versa. No one NEEDS a sibling. But I can guarantee you that everyone NEEDS a friend. Maybe for some people friends do come in the form of a sibling. Or maybe, no I'm quite certain, that two people can share a bond that some siblings couldn't even hold a candle to.

ReplyDeletei agree, even though i have a sibling who is my best friend. It isn't enough of a reason for me to have a second. She will have plenty of best buds.
Being an only child myself, I know the importance of having a great friend. You can totally tell that those girls will be best friends for life!
