Meanwhile, at this very minute she's upstairs screaming at the top of her lungs because she does not want to go to bed. I'm thinking that her head is going to spin completely around any second now. Anyone know a good Exorcist?
And on a side note, I'll be out of town for a few days with work so I'll catch up with you guys this weekend! And I may need an Exorcist for Steven come Friday.
Ah, "There's a Wocket in My Pocket" and "Goodnight Moon"--two of my favorites, too. Isn't it funny how you actually get weirded out when they're quiet??
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your work trip! Hope it's to someplace good!
She looks so cute reading her books. Wouldn't you love to know what they are thinking? And what goes better with a good book than a sippy of milk!
ReplyDeletelike mother like daughter. I hope Sophie always loves books the way you and I do.

Hmmm...now I would think that "quiet time" in a house with a near-2-year-old would be kinda scary, like find-her-in-the-bathroom-with-your-lipstick- smeared-on-the-walls scary. But I guess reading quiet time is good. And very cute.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so studious! She's really enjoying her books, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteThere is no "Quiet Time" in my house unless it's nap time. If the kids are not yelling, screaming or whining, they push those annoyingly loud toy lawn mowers in my house.
Hope you work trip involves a sunny beach! :-)
Wow, a work trip?? The highlight of my week is doing some admissions! And I agree with the others, quiet time makes me nervous til you see something this sweet. It really looks like she's reading!
ReplyDeleteNow, that is a sweet moment. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip.
What a great thing to find her doing during quiet time! She has a great example to follow...
